Overview

E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri was founded durring the late 17th century in late winter of the year 1659, by Glimias. The establishment of E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri's construction back out of the project. Glimias pushed on reguardles, and E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow worn bedrock streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The city's budget focused millitary grade defenses are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.

Even the most brief look arround E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The city is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in E̜styǟkur Ëde̜d Gri, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.
